Ilkin Mehrabov is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Strategic Communication. He is a computational social scientist (with an undergraduate education in electrical and electronics engineering and graduate degrees in media, cultural and communication studies) conducting quantitative and qualitative research/teaching on social movements, digital activism, electronic surveillance, cyber-security, online censorship, ICT4D, algorithmic propaganda, the political economy of communication, public relations, and lobbying.
